Getting ready to start the first day at our IAAE convention. As president-elect, I have plenty of duties (I think I should have read the job description before I said yes), but few responsibilities. I'm not so used to that. It feels like things are way out of my control, but I think that is the way it is supposed to feel. At any rate, it looks to be a busy day, capped off with a steak dinner in the park(YUM) and maybe some poker tonight at the 'recreation night' at the hotel.
